Proof of Departure
Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.
Introduction Letter
Applicants applying for a Tourist or Private Visit Visa must supply a Letter of Introduction addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Kazakhstan. Please, indicate the purpose of your trip, your contact in Kazakhstan, the dates of your planned trip, and places to be visited.
Applicants staying in a private home must apply for a Private Visit Visa.
An invitation is no longer required for a single entry private visa for U.S. citizens for a stay up to 30 days, but applicants for Double Triple entry, or multiple entries visas, will require a letter of invitation from the Kazakh host, approved by the Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
SINGLE ENTRY:
A letter of introduction, from the applicant and addressed to the Embassy of Kazakhstan is required, stating the purpose and dates of the visit and your itinerary in Kazakhstan.
DOUBLE/TRIPLE/MULTIPLE ENTRIES:
If you apply for a multiple visa for up to one year, a copy of the invitation letter from a company in Kazakhstan is needed (same for double and triple entry visas). This letter must be submitted by the inviting company in Kazakhstan to the Department of Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Department of Consular Services will provide the hosting company with a reference number for you to submit it with other documents to the Consular Section.
